Highlight: Alpha's June Covers

Alpha Betta is V-Dere’s resident VSinger and currently has more than 81 covers published on her YouTube channel. For the month of June, this adorable fish set out for a special treat, posting not one - but five song covers during this period of time, four of which came from her birthday concert! Let’s go through them together and who knows, if you’re looking for something new to listen to, you might just find a new favorite!
Not part of the concert was the first cover of the month, that being the main theme of the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Game. “Alicia” is a moving and delicate Opera style-vocal song, sung in a fictional language inspired by both Latin and French. If you are looking for something to bring you to tears, this is your new obsession.
Alpha’s cover of “Moon River” is a soft and sweet acoustic version of the song from the movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Whether you’re a fan of movie music, or just a fan of Alpha’s lovely voice, this song is never the wrong choice to listen to!
One of the lovely Alphamily’s favourites was the cover of Yoasobi’s “Comet”, which (fun-fact) is also the ending song for the second season of the anime “Beastars”. It’s a heartwarming and gentle song about people finding each other despite the challenges in life. If you’re a fan of anime or Yoasobi, give this song a listen.
The song "Can't help falling in love with you" is known to many people as an all-time favorite classic! Since the song was released in 1961, this song is over 60 years old, but Alpha covered it with a fresh and clear voice. It's maddeningly cute! Be careful, otherwise you'll get your heart stolen~
And finally, saving the biggest treat for last, Alpha also released the acoustic version of her very own original song 555L Aquarium. It’s a soothing ballad with both English and Japanese lyrics that were written by Alpha herself! This song is one of our absolute favorites, and it should be yours too!
